3 Valleys Classic Hike - Trekking in Morocco - Imlil valley
Trek to Assouel Summit 2600m

The hike will start from to the East of the Town; you start with an old village called Tamater 1900m high above sea level. Then climb a steep hill to Tizi n’Tamatert mountain pass 2300m. Arrive to the pass nice views over the two valleys Imlil & Imnane, after the break you will take the second stage which is the hardest part of the Trek, zigzagging path to the Summit of Assaoul breathtaking views over Toubkal summit and the high Atlas Mountains range, also over Al Haouz villages. Picnic lunch at the Top of the Mountain then go back to the village via the same trail.

Day Treks from Imlil
Tassghimout Plateau and Tizi Mzik pass 2500m

Day trek starts at 9 am and finishes the same day in the evening. We start from Imlil village and walk up to the col (pass) of Tizi Mazik (2500m) visible from Imlil. Pass through the village of Arghan and Mazik, the trail is a narrow path, and steep it will take around 3 hrs to reach the Top of the Tasghimout Plateau then back to the Mountain pass for picnic lunch. Amazing views over Azzaden and Imlil valleys, colorful mountains and old Juniper trees. After lunch walk down to Imlil village and end of the Hike.

Tizi Mzik pass 2500m & Tamsoult Waterfalls

Day trek starts at 9 am and finishes the same day in the evening. We start from Imlil village and walk up to the col (pass) of Tizi Mazik (2500m) visible from Imlil. Pass through the village of Arghan and Mazik, the trail is a narrow path, and steep it will take around 2hrs to reach the Tizi Mzik pass, then cross the mountain to go for another 2hrs to the waterfalls picnic there, then back with the same trail to Imlil village and end of the Hike.

Chamharouch village (2500m) and Tidli Forest

We start from Imlil village and we trek up to the cool waters by the Sanctuary of Sidi Chamharouch, taking the route towards Toubkal. Follow the course of the Reraya river, passing the village of Aremd and crossing over and up to the other side of the Ait Mizane Valley. Picnic on arrival or on route. After the Picnic we head to Tidli Plateau amazing views over Imlil valley and Enjoy the silent of the Mountains then back to Imlil center.

Note: if you want to have a hot cooked lunch you will need to pay an extra of 20€ per day for the chef & the mule (is the typical hiking experience in the Atlas Mountains)
